More Than a Rescue.
Bartow Rescue & Resources was founded on a simple belief: communities are stronger when people and pets stay together.
Sometimes that means rescuing a dog from Animal Control. Sometimes it means helping a family afford emergency veterinary care. Sometimes it means providing temporary care during a crisis. Sometimes it simply means listening and helping someone find the right resources.
We’re here to meet people where they are—and to build the solutions our community needs.
Because Our Community Needed More.
For too long, families and pets in Bartow County have faced gaps in the support they needed. Sometimes there was nowhere to turn. Sometimes help existed, but it wasn’t connected. Sometimes the answer was simply, “We can’t.”
Rather than waiting for someone else to solve the problem, Bartow Rescue & Resources chose to become part of the solution. We’re building a community resource where pets are protected, families are supported, and people can find hope when they need it most.
Because our community deserves more than a rescue. It deserves a place where compassion becomes action.

Together, We're Changing Lives
Since April 11, 2024, our community has helped:
- 431 cats and dogs find adoptive homes
- 11 pets reunited with their families
- 24 pets transferred to partner organizations
466 positive outcomes and counting.

Rescue is only part of the story. Our programs are designed to keep pets safe, strengthen families, and provide practical resources throughout Bartow County. From adoption and fostering to veterinary assistance, community outreach, and future campus services, every program is built around one question: What does our community need?
Bogey's Buddies Rescue Program
Saving homeless, abandoned, and at-risk dogs through compassionate foster care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and adoption. Every rescue is a second chance at life.

From emergency veterinary assistance and pet food support to Angel Foster, outreach, and education, we’re here when our community needs us most.
