This is Axle and his human. Axle was left in a mobile home, abandoned to die. He was there for weeks, how long, we do not know. His humans moved away and left him. Axle had the sense to eventually escape his prison by knocking a window out to get free. The neighbors tried to catch him, as he hid in the bushes around his home waiting for his humans to come back. He was 50 lbs as a 2 year old, a fur covered skeleton of a dog. It took weeks to get him healthy again. He never stopped loving and trusting. This best boy is in a wonderful new home where they cook him dinner every night!

Mama Chloe was wandering the street, ready to give birth. She happened to be seen by one of our steady fosters, who took her in, and she became the best mom to 10 puppies within just a few hours of knowing she was safe.
