From a Shelter Floor to a Second Chance
Stump came to Bogey’s Buddies in crisis. Our fosters put out an urgent, all-hands call: this little dog needed a miracle just to make it through the next few days. His injuries were severe, and without immediate veterinary care, his chances were not good.
Stump's Comeback Story
Thanks to the fosters who stepped up and refused to give up on him, Stump got the emergency treatment he needed and began the long road back. His recovery included vet visits, laser therapy, and a lot of patience through the healing process. Along the way, he even sported a recovery suit and a pair of sunglasses for his laser sessions, and the fosters shared every milestone as he grew stronger. Today, Stump is happy and healthy, living proof of what a community can do when it rallies around one animal in need.
How You Can Help
By the time Stump’s treatment was complete, the total medical bill came to over $7,800. His fosters covered that cost out of their own pockets so he would never have to wait for care. Now we’re asking our community to help us pay it forward through our SOS Medical Fund. Every gift helps us keep saying yes to the next animal who shows up in crisis.
